The Western New York Great Lakes Restoration Grant Program is provided by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative and administered locally by Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper and partners. This program supports on-the-ground environmental improvements while helping organizations build capacity to manage federal funding. Projects must occur within the Niagara River/Lake Erie Watershed in Western New York and address at least one of the following:

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be located in or serving one of the eight counties of Western New York: Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Niagara, Orleans and Wyoming. Grants are awarded only to organizations that have current Section 501(c)(3) status as determined by the Internal Revenue Service.
