The ArtsAVL Nonprofit Arts Recovery Grant supports nonprofit arts organizations in Western North Carolina that have experienced ongoing physical and/or economic impacts from Hurricane Helene. The program provides flexible recovery funding to help organizations stabilize operations, address storm-related impacts, and restore access to arts and cultural programming. This is a competitive grant program supported by the North Carolina Community Foundation’s Disaster Relief Fund and Dogwood Health Trust.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be a nonprofit arts organization legally incorporated as a 501(c)(3)
- Have been in operation for at least two consecutive years prior to the application deadline
- Have prior-year operating expenses of at least $20,000
- Be physically located in one of the following counties: Ashe, Avery, Buncombe, Burke, Caldwell, Cleveland, Haywood, Henderson, Madison, McDowell, Mitchell, Polk, Rutherford, Transylvania, Watauga, or Yancey
- Have been substantially impacted (physically and/or economically) by Hurricane Helene
