- EMHR has $70,000 in funding available, and applicants can request up to $10,000 per grant with a new match requirement of just 20 percent of the project cost.
- Applicants may request funds of up to a maximum of $10,000, and the project’s overall cost must be $50,000 or less.
Eligibility Criteria
Grant applicants to the EMHR must be a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, a municipality or municipal agency, a public education institution, or county government within the counties of Bradford, Sullivan, Susquehanna and Wyoming. While grantees were formerly required to provide a full, 100-percent match, new DCNR guidelines in 2026 have changed the match requirements to just 20-percent of the full project cost.
