Franklin County Commissioners established the Historical Preservation Fund to deposit and expend funds related to historic preservation. Franklin County has established the Historical Preservation Grants (HPG) Program to promote historic preservation or historic programs within the borders of Franklin County to increase knowledge and service to residents and better preserve, exhibit, and interpret historic items.
Eligibility Criteria
Recipients of funding from this grant must be government entities or IRS-recognized non-profit 501(c)(3) entities and must be physically located in Franklin County and provide services to Franklin County residents.
