The Downtown Development Authority Promotions Committee works year round to bring family-friendly and fun events to the heart of the city in Downtown Rome. These events are sponsored by the Business Improvement District, which is made up of downtown business and property owners.
Funding Information
The requested amount cannot exceed $1,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- The event must be located within the Business Improvement District.
- The event must have proper permits in place when necessary.
- Only one grant per organization issued per year.
- Applicant must demonstrate a positive impact on the downtown business district (economic, tourism, etc.). Funds granted through this program are intended to support organizations in the production of events that enhance the quality of life and promote economic growth in Downtown Rome.
- Priority will be given to groups/organizations that exist in the downtown business district
- Priority will be given to non-profit organizations.
