The Neighborhood Investment Program is a partnership between the City of Boise and city-registered neighborhood associations.
The program funds comprehensive neighborhood plans and capital construction projects to help enrich the lives of citizens, enhance the identity and quality of life in neighborhoods and encourage a strong sense of community. The program also funds mini-grants to support neighborhood communication and community-building.
Eligible projects will contribute to strong and healthy neighborhoods through resident involvement and engagement in the identification, planning, and implementation processes. Funded projects will provide a public benefit to all members of the community.
Eligibility Criteria
- The city’s registered neighborhood associations are eligible to apply for project funding. Individuals and community groups must work with their neighborhood associations to apply. All projects must be located on public property.
All groups must attend a Neighborhood Investment Workshop and receive Project Manager approval prior to application submission.
