The Tribal Heritage Grant awards are funded by the Historic Preservation Fund (HPF), and administered by the NPS. This competitive grant program provides grants to assist Indian Tribes, Alaskan Natives, and Native Hawaiian Organizations. Non-federal matching share is not required, but preference will be given to applications that show community commitment through non-federal match and partnership collaboration.

- Survey of Traditional Skills
- Preserving a Historic Property listed on the National Register

- Oral History and Documenting Cultural Traditions
- Education and Training for a Historic Preservation Program
