The Northeast Ohio Public Energy Council (NOPEC)’s Community Event Sponsorship Program provides financial support to organizations within the Brimfield Township community. Brimfield Township is seeking applications from non-profit organizations for the 2023 Community Event Sponsorship Grant.
If selected for this grant, the funds received must be used to sponsor a one-time event that is free and open to the public and takes place in Brimfield Township during the 2023 calendar year.

Brimfield Township is seeking applications from non-profit organizations for the 2023 Community Event Sponsorship Grant in the amount of $1,500.00.
Eligibility Criteria
- Be a non-profit organization (must be able to show proof of non-profit status)
- Be located within Brimfield Township and directly impact the Brimfield Township community
- Host events for residents that are free and open to the public
- Provide an engagement opportunity, enabling NOPEC to connect with residents in a meaningful and relevant way that would not be possible without the sponsorship.
- NOPEC logo and/or name exposure is considered a bonus but is not required in order to receive sponsorship funds.
- Be able to provide accurate banking information including Bank name, Account number and Routing number (upon selection). No paper checks will be issued.
Event proposals:
- Must be free and open to all residents of Brimfield Township
- Provide an opportunity for engagement with the public
- Cannot be politically or religious-centered events
- Cannot be construed as discriminatory
- Must align with NOPEC’s mission and values
- Cannot duplicate existing sponsorships or involve NOPEC’s direct competitors
