Funding Priorities
- Foundation’s primary focus at this time is creating pathways out of poverty and alleviating the impact of poverty on individuals and families
- The Foundation strives to achieve impact through its Community Grants Program by supporting projects that contribute to:
- Promoting pleasant, livable communities with thriving and sustainable economies;
- Preparing the next generation for adulthood and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all generations;
- Promoting self-sufficiency for vulnerable individuals and families; and
- Assuring that means are available to provide for the basic needs of individuals and families in times of trouble.

Typical grant awards range from $1,000 to $5,000, with $10,000 as the maximum generally awarded from the Community Fund.
Eligibility Criteria
The Foundation restricts its support to organizations in the 15-county South Plains region which are 501(c)(3) or the government equivalent. Grants may be made for programs and projects in the areas of Civic, Social and Economic Development; Education and Youth; Basic Needs and Self Sufficiency. The Foundation does not make grants to individuals, for political purposes, to retire indebtedness, or for payment of interest or taxes.
