QCF grants provide funding for a wide variety of programs and services in the city, including emergency housing for homeless families, volunteer services and meals for seniors, advocacy and emergency assistance for domestic violence victims, health care, mental health, and local food banks.
Nonprofits can only apply to ONE of the following grants each year:
- Program/Project Grant: Supports a specific nonprofit program or project that impacts Commerce City residents.
- General Operating Support Grant (for returning grantees): Supports nonprofits with developing their internal capacities and systems to better serve Commerce City residents. To be eligible for this grant, the nonprofit must have:
- Successfully completed the scope of work defined in the prior grant application(s)
- Expended all prior grant funds and submitted all grant reports
Funding Information
Organizations can receive a up to $7,500 each for the Program/Project Grant or $5,000 for the General Operating Grant.
Eligibility Criteria
- Have 501(c)(3) nonprofit status and be in good standing with state and federal regulations.
- Address the needs of Commerce City residents (organizations do not need to be based in Commerce City. however, a significant factor in the evaluation will be the impact the organization has on Commerce City residents).
- Demonstrate sound fiscal management.
