In 2016, Chevron Products Company partnered with the Carlsbad Community Foundation to establish the Chevron Catalyst Fund. Through a competitive grant process, the fund enriches the lives of people in Carlsbad and South Eddy County, New Mexico, by supporting programs and projects that build community capacity and quality of life. Charitable organizations may apply for grants to address a wide variety of community needs, including civic involvement, health, diversity, arts and culture, education, etc.
To best support broad charitable purposes in the community, they are not able to offer grants for event sponsorships, marketing activities, sports, travel, or political parties/activities.

Typical grant awards have been between $500 and $5,000.
Eligibility Criteria
All 501c(3) and other charitable organizations in Carlsbad and South Eddy County are invited to apply. South Eddy County includes Carlsbad, Otis, Loving, Malaga and Queen.
