Grant funding is sponsored by the Oregon Cultural Trust and Deschutes County and must support projects and activities that address one of the four priorities outlined within the Deschutes Cultural Plan:
- Encourage greater awareness of local culture.
- Ensure that a variety of cultural resources and programming are accessible to all
- Provide cultural education in Deschutes County
- Help new and established cultural organizations increase their capacity to fulfill their mission.
Proposals from applicants with innovative projects or programming that offers increased accessibility to a broader audience base will generally be considered more competitive, as will projects that build operation and/or program capacity.
Funding Information
The Deschutes Cultural Coalition is once again pleased to announce the availability of an additional $25,000 distribution of funding for 2024 to arts and culture organizations from Deschutes County. Grant Criteria Grant awards typically range from $500 to $5,000 each.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be:
- Deschutes County – based humanities, heritage or arts organizations
- Designated 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations
- Established for at least one year
- Prior grant awardees must have submitted all project reports
