- The application is brief since the amount of the grant is the same for each business ($5000).
The American Rescue Plan states that eligible uses of the funds include:
- COVID-19 expenditures or negative economic impacts of COVID-19,
- Assistance to small businesses and hard-hit industries for economic recovery, premium pay for essential workers, investments in water and sewer and broadband infrastructure.
The Burgess and Commissioners are making grants available to eligible businesses. The Town is providing this grant to businesses to thank you for working through this pandemic, your staff, and residents.
Eligibility Criteria
This grant is open to for-profit-Businesses located within the boundaries of the Town of Middletown. Exceptions: these classes of businesses below are not eligible to receive ARPA funds through this local grant.
- Home businesses and Businesses who do not have a physical presence in the Town
- Businesses operating in the financial industry
- Businesses that opened in Middletown after October 2020
