The Leaders Peer Support Group will expose and introduce recipients to an experienced network, provide coaching, access to consultants, webinars, and bootcamps. The program is intended to level the playing field and give these leaders access to a network and training environment they would be financially unable to access otherwise.
The scholarship is meant to accomplish three primary goals:
- Be a lifetime learning and growth experience in leadership
- To encourage, develop, and support leaders in their communities
- To become part of a growing peer support community that builds up fellow members creating a legacy that leads to social and economic empowerment in minority communities.
The BIPOC Executive Director Peer Support Group is a yearly program renewable up to 5 years. Recipients are part of a 20 person cohort upon which they matriculate from member, to mentor, to legacy member. The award covers the yearly cost and allows the awardee to take advantage of the peer support group and learning for 5 years.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must qualify as BIPOC
- Must be the Executive Director/CEO or equivalent
- Must have a financial need
- 501c(3) status must be active
- Must have a current 501c(3) Nonprofit operating in the Denver Metro area serving minority communities / causes / issues
- Commit to completing the program
