Lead & Toxics Program Action Groups and Product Testing Events (Washington)

Dated: March 8, 2022

The Lead and Toxics Program at Public Health – Seattle & King County seeks partnerships with community-based organizations to prevent childhood lead poisoning and increase Blood Lead testing with a focus on three areas of concern: housing, healthcare, and consumer products. While they have made significant progress raising awareness about the importance of lead poisoning prevention, King County still faces significant challenges to eliminating lead poisoning in their communities and to testing and serving children with elevated blood lead levels
