LinkedIn Creator Accelerator Program for Creators in U.S.A

Dated: July 28, 2022

Applications for the U.S. Creator Accelerator Program: Technology & Innovation are currently open.

Donor Name: LinkedIn

State: All States

County: All Counties

Type of Grant: Accelerator Program

Deadline: 08/10/2022

Size of the Grant: $12,000

Duration: 6 Weeks

Details:

The LinkedIn Creator Accelerator Program is an initiative designed to support creators on LinkedIn through coaching, recognition, and resources. They are furthering their investment in the creator community by introducing a second U.S. Creator Accelerator Program, focused on creators who are passionate about Technology & Innovation. Some of the most interesting conversations happening today around the world of work are squarely focused on technology & innovation, and creators are driving these important discussions forward.

The Creator Accelerator Program is a 6-week incubator-style program, where participants can bring new concepts and visions to life, helping to grow their audience and engage the LinkedIn community. Accepted program participants will receive support from the LinkedIn team, a financial award and early access to LinkedIn tools to start conversations, build engaged communities, and connect to meaningful opportunities on the platform.

Benefits

Participants in the LinkedIn Creator Accelerator Program receive coaching, recognition and resources. Specifics for this program include:

  • A financial award of up to $12,000 ($8,000 base plus $4,000 potential additional award) for each participant to help bring their idea to life across the 6-week program
  • Six weeks of programming
  • Expert coaching and guidance from external mentors
  • Opportunities to be featured across LinkedIn brand, marketing, and editorial channels
  • Creator networking opportunities
  • Access to an engaged, valuable creator community
  • Program swag

Eligibility Criteria

  • To apply for the program, you must be a LinkedIn member 18 years of age or older and a resident of the United States.
  • If you previously applied to the last U.S. Creator Accelerator Program and were not accepted, you are welcome to apply to this one.
  • Employees and contractors of LinkedIn and its affiliates, past Creator Accelerator Program participants, LinkedIn Podcast Network members, and LinkedIn Influencers are ineligible.
  • You may only submit one application for the program, and third parties (such as an agency) cannot apply on behalf of a creator.

Application Criteria

They are asking applicants to submit a creative concept they can bring to life over the course of the 6-week program, tied to the larger technology & innovation space. It can be demonstrated across a wide variety of topics such as web3, AI, cyber security, startups, data science, and more. Creators will be holistically evaluated on four key areas:

  • Creativity: Does the creator have an original and compelling vision that ties back to innovation or technology that can start conversations on LinkedIn and build community? Do they demonstrate an ability to leverage video and other media in an engaging, helpful, quality way?
  • Passion: Does the creator focus on something helpful within the world of work related to technology and innovation? Will they spark meaningful conversations?
  • Commitment: Does the creator have a thoughtful and specific plan for bringing their content to life?
  • Impact: Does the creator’s focus align with LinkedIn’s vision and mission of creating economic opportunity for the global workforce? Will content resonate and engage their target audience? Have they demonstrated an ability to build community on or off LinkedIn?
