The Golden Belt Neighborhood Youth Grant provides support within the communities of Barton, Pawnee, Rush, and Stafford Counties. This grant is available to help promote youth related organizations, programs and projects that benefit children and families. Favorable projects leverage matching funds for greater community impact.
Eligibility Criteria
- Grants may be made to public charities; that is organizations described in section 501(c)(3) and 509(a)(1), (a)(2), or (a)(3); and to private operating foundations. The Foundation will not normally make grants to private non-operating foundations.
- Grants may also be made to units of government for public purposes. This includes Native American tribal governments.
- In exceptional circumstances, grants may be made to other types of nonprofit organization and to businesses. Using expenditure responsibility as a guideline, the Foundation will carefully supervise any such grants to document the use of its funds solely for charitable purposes.
- The program or project you are requesting funding for must be charitable.
Ineligibility
Generally, the foundation does not make grants for the following:
- Grants to individuals
- Operating expenses
- Religious activities for religious purposes
- Lobbying or any other activity of a political nature
- Endowment or to retire indebtedness
- Private foundations and other grant making organizations
- T-shirts, water bottles, and similar items
