With this solicitation, the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) seeks to award Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program funds to eligible units of local government.
Goals
In general, the 2023 JAG Program is designed to provide units of local government with additional personnel, equipment, supplies, contractual support, training, technical assistance, and information systems for criminal justice and civil proceedings.
Objectives
The objectives are directly related to the JAG Program accountability measures A unit of local government that receives an 2023 JAG award will be required to produce various types of reports including quarterly performance reports in BJA’s Performance Measurement Tool (PMT), quarterly financial reports in JustGrants, and semi-annual progress reports in JustGrants.
