Details:
The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation has been a longtime champion of innovation and rethinking education. But in the last few years, it has become even more evident that real innovation comes from those that are closest to the challenges. School leaders in the Kansas City metro region have shown over and over again that they are creating change with their staff, students, and communities. As they collectively rebuild better in the region, they want to know what future-forward approaches school leaders are using to make their schools ready for the future.
Areas of focus include professional learning and development, curriculum and instruction, student support, and parent/community engagement ultimately leading to improved student outcomes. This grant opportunity will also provide school leaders access to a national and regional learning community, Rethink ED, facilitated by the Kauffman Foundation.
