Funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the 604(b) Water Quality Grant Program provides funding to regional planning organizations for regional water quality management planning activities. Project proposals must be focused on water quality management planning, not projects on-the-ground.
604(b) funds are for activities, such as:
- improving stormwater systems
- determining ways to expand green infrastructure programs
- determining the nature, extent and causes of point and nonpoint source water pollution problems, and developing plans to resolve these problems
- other water quality management planning projects
Funding Information
- $160,000 will be made available through grants from ADEQ and dispersed as reimbursements to awardees that report accomplishments and expenses to ADEQ
