$100,000 in funding is available and grants will be awarded based upon the number of applications that align with United Way of Lebanon County’s areas of focus.
Eligibility Criteria
- The program for which you are seeking funding must directly serve Lebanon County residents.
- The organization must be incorporated as a nonprofit, charitable organization and qualify as tax-exempt 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service code.
- Must be able to verify that services are provided to any eligible individuals without regard to race, religion, national origin, ethnicity, age, gender, gender identity, disability, sexual orientation, veteran status, familial status, or socioeconomic status.
- The organization has stated policies of nondiscrimination and complies with all the requirements of state and federal laws and regulations on nondiscrimination and equal opportunity with respect to clients, officers, employees, and volunteers. Operates, by policy and practice, without discrimination in all respects including services to individuals, selection of Board and committee members, and the employment of staff.
- The organization does not knowingly employ individuals or contribute funds to organizations found on terrorist-related lists officially announced by the U.S. Government, the United Nations, or the European Union. Has certification indicating compliance with the spirit and intent of the U.S.A. Patriot Act and other counterterrorism laws as requested (must sign and return the USA Patriot Act Certification Form.)
