Education Outreach Grants are $5,000 grants and must directly support education programs for public school children in grades K–12. These may be in-school- or out-of-school-time programs, they may serve students and/or teachers, educators, and public school administrators, and maybe school- or community-based. The key for eligibility here is the K-12 public school focus.
If your program is education-related but does not directly serve K–12 public school students and educators, you may be eligible for a Community Outreach Grant.
Community Outreach Grants are $5,000 grants that meet our mission and vision of innovative programming, collaboration, and advocacy for lifelong learning. Community Outreach Grants are not required to solely support K-12 public education. Early Childhood, adult learning, basic needs initiatives or community events are a few areas that fall under this category.
