Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce Foundation is seeking applications for its Main Street Lehigh Valley Grant Program to improve Every Main Street in the Lehigh Valley through targeted investments in community development revitalization programs, facade improvements, streetscape designs, urban planning, event promotion, sidewalk beautification and other improvements to their downtowns and urban centers.

The Foundation is improving every Main Street in the Lehigh Valley, one project at a time, through targeted investments in:
- urban planning
- sidewalk beautification
- façade improvement
- streetscape design
Monies invested improve the stability of the community; improve existing or develop new civic, cultural, or recreational facilities or activities; assist with business retention, expansion, or attraction; support the creation of local jobs; and enhance the health, welfare, and quality of life of its citizens.
Focus of Foundation Grant Program
Chamber Foundation funds may be used for downtown and surrounding traditional neighborhood revitalization and improvement projects within the Lehigh Valley. Priority will be given to projects that:
- Are visible within the community
- Show partnership or collaboration with others
- Support business retention or expansion
- Are consistent with the local revitalization strategy
- Demonstrate geographic diversity
- Improve existing or develop new facilities
- Leave a lasting impact in the community
- Are submitted on behalf of a recognized main street program or volunteer group
Funding Information
- At least a 50% match is required (if you are requesting $2,000, you must show receipts of at least $4,000)
- Applicants may apply for up to $2000 maximum per project
- Proposals projects to be completed July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024
Eligible projects may include but are not limited to:
Banners, Benches, Decorative Lighting, Gateway Signage, Landscaping, Planters, Bicycle Racks, Directional Signage, Informational Kiosks, Murals, Outdoor seating, Holiday Decorations
