The purpose of the grant program is to provide financial support for activities associated with promoting Livermore’s downtown, the wine country, and events that:
- Promote Livermore as a destination.
- Produce an economic benefit to Livermore and the region.
- Generate tourism in Livermore.
Event organizers are encouraged to apply for the program, which awards five (5) grants of $2,000 each to organizations who successfully demonstrate that their event will directly benefit Livermore downtown businesses and local wineries and generate largest attendance (a minimum of 1,000 combined expected attendees in person and virtually is required). Preference will be given to new and innovative events that have not yet been supported by a Tourism and Special Event Grant.
Funding Information
- A total of five grants of $2,000 each will be awarded.
