The Community Foundation for Southern Arizona is proud to announced that multiple scholarship opportunities for Southern Arizona high school seniors and college students.

Details:

The CFSA General Scholarship is open to all graduates of Southern Arizona high schools who meet the necessary GPA criteria. The CFSA General Scholarship Application includes consideration for the following scholarships:

  • CFSA General Scholarship
  • Boilard-Harkin Scholarship (For Community College Students/Applicants)
  • Pauline Miguel Scholarship
  • Jacques-Wegner Scholarship

This scholarship supports Southern Arizona students in pursuing their educational dreams and opportunities. Applicants must be graduating in the current school year, or have graduated in a previous year, from a high school in Southern Arizona (Yuma, Pima, Santa Cruz and Cochise counties, and regions of Graham, Greenlee, Pinal and Maricopa counties south of the Gila River). Graduates from high schools outside of this region will not be considered for this scholarship.

CFSA policy prohibits the disbursement of scholarships to for-profit educational institutions. If you intend to enroll or currently study at a for-profit institution, your application will not be eligible for these scholarships.

Funding Information

  • CFSA General Scholarship: This scholarship is renewable for up to 4 years, provided GPA and enrollment eligibility are maintained by the recipient. The first-year award is $2,000. The second-year award is $2,500. The third- and fourth-year award amount is $4,000 per year.
  • Boilard-Harkin Scholarship: The scholarship awards up to $2,500 to recipients annually, and recipients may reapply for a second year of funding.
  • Pauline Miguel Scholarship: The scholarship awards a single $1,000 scholarship annually, and may not be renewed.
  • Jacques-Wegner Scholarship: This scholarship awards a single $3,000 scholarship annually.

Eligibility Criteria

  • CFSA General Scholarship: Applicants must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA and be enrolled full-time to be eligible for this scholarship.
  • Boilard-Harkin Scholarship:
    • Applicants must:
      • Be a graduate of a high school located in Southern Arizona.
      • Enroll at an accredited community college.
  • Pauline Miguel Scholarship
    • Applicants must:
      • Be graduating seniors from Ajo, Baboquivari, Pueblo, Tucson, Desert View or Sunnyside High schools. Preference is given to descendants of and/or members of the Tohono O’Odham Nation.
      • Enroll for full-time study at an accredited public institution. Two-year and four-year institutions are eligible.
  • Jacques-Wegner Scholarship
    • Applicants must:
      • Be a graduate of a high school located in Southern Arizona.
      • Enroll at an accredited college or university.
      • Express an interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) through their studies.
