What can the funds be used for?
Grant funds awarded under this program shall be used for general operating expenses. The intent of this program is to help art and culture related entities survive the COVID-19 pandemic.

What type of entities are eligible?
- Live performance venue operators, performing arts organizations, art galleries and motion picture theater operators:
- The business entity must, as a principal business activity, organize, promote, produce, manage, or host live concerts, comedy shows, theatrical productions, art exhibits or other events by artists.
- A cover charge through ticketing or front door entrance fee must be applied.
- At least 70% of the entity’s earned revenue is derived from cover charges or ticket sales, production fees or production reimbursements, nonprofit educational initiatives, or the sale of event beverages, food, or merchandise in conjunction with a live event.
- Non-profit arts organizations and museums:
- Meaning a building in which objects of historical, scientific, artistic, or cultural interest are stored and exhibited. Or an organization that provides programming across one or more of the following artistic fields: creative placemaking, dance, design, folk and traditional arts, literary arts, multidisciplinary arts, music, media arts, theater and visual arts.
