Examples include a school or community garden or urban farm, tree plantings, bicycle or pedestrian events, waste collection or waste reduction programs, neighborhood or roadway clean-ups, implementing energy efficiency measures at your school or other community space, adding desert-adapted plants to your neighborhood, church or school, developing a water conservation campaign, developing a messaging campaign about the value of trees, creating a public art display about climate action, hosting an event online or in person, etc.

Open to applicants between the ages of 15-24 years old who reside in, attend school in, or whose initiatives directly benefit the City of Mesa.
