Equipment purchases should aim to expand productivity, operations and/or increase staff retention and satisfaction. Innovative ideas and proposals are encouraged!
Proposals should outline a clear need for the equipment purchase and include what improvements the EMS agency expects to experience as a result of the purchase/equipment. In addition, proposals should include expected results, including but not limited to: improved processes, increased revenue and/or staff or patient satisfaction or safety.
Proposals may include, but are not limited to:
- Materials and start-up supplies;
- Additional sources of funding for the purchase, if any, including funding source and amount; and/or
- Software and HIT purchases.

Available Grant Budget: $20,000
Grantee Requirements:
- Notify ORH upon purchase and implementation of equipment.
- Submit a final summary to ORH once equipment has been fully implemented, reporting how the equipment has assisted the EMS agency in achieving the goals identified within the proposal, as well as outcome data that may be available as a result of the installation of equipment.
- If possible, submit photos that ORH will use to share results via social media and newsletter outlets.
- Provide final budget and spending tracking for all funded activities.
