The Michigan Arts and Culture Council (MACC) is offering grants in support of arts and culture-related projects or collaborations led by a young person (ages 14-30 years old) who is associated or connected to an established youth/teen subcommittee or young professionals group, or for the formation of a new teen/youth subcommittee or group.
Funding Information
- Applicants may request up to $4,000.
- Projects must take place during the grant timeline: October 1, 2022, to September 30, 2023.
Eligibility Criteria
501(c)(3) organization, municipality, or school that host, facilitate, run, or manage a youth/teen subcommittee or young professionals group are all eligible to apply for this program. Youth who have a formal seat on the board of an organization are also eligible to apply through the organization. Organizations who wish to create a youth/teen council or young professionals arm to their work are eligible to apply. Applicants must be incorporated and located in the State of Michigan. They must ensure no part of net earnings benefits a private individual. If any applicant fails to meet MACC requirements on a current grant agreement, their pending application will be removed from the review process. If any applicant fails to meet MACCrequirements on a current grant, following MACC approval on an FY 23 application, the newly approved grant will be rescinded.
