Fundin Information

Grants of $6,000 will be made to qualifying local arts organizations to assist with operating and staffing costs.
July 1, 2022. All dollars must be expended by June 30, 2023.

Eligible Activities

Allowable Costs (no other costs are allowed):

Salary support, full or partial, for one or more staff positions.
Fees/stipends for artists and/or contractual personnel only in support of services they provide for specific activities in support of the organization’s day-to-day operations.
Facilities costs such as mortgage principal, rent, and utilities.
Costs associated with health and safety supplies for staff and/or visitors/audiences (ex. PPE, cleaning supplies, hand sanitizer, etc.).
Marketing and promotion costs.

Eligibility Criteria

Arts organizations in the following Arrowhead counties: Aitkin, Cook, Carlton, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake, or St. Louis. Organizations currently receiving Operating Support from the Minnesota State Arts Board (MSAB) are not eligible to apply to this or any other ARAC program. For this program, only organizations that have previously received a grant from ARAC can apply.
Past ARAC grant recipients with an overdue, unaccepted, or falsified final report are ineligible to apply. Use of a fiscal sponsor is PROHIBITED for this program.
