The grant program is intended to help organizations improve resiliency by updating technology, improve operations and modify internal and external processes.
Business resiliency is the ability of an organization to quickly adapt to disruptions while maintaining continuous operations, safeguarding people and assets.
Funding Information
Maximum Grant amount for the MCRG Program is $5,000.
There has been $500,000 dollars allocated from Mower County for the MCRG program and the funds have been allocated as follows:
- $150,000 for Businesses
- $100,000 for Non-Profits
- $250,000 for Travel, Tourism and Hospitality (TTH Businesses and Non-Profits)
Eligibility Criteria
Businesses and Non-profit organizations must meet following criteria to be eligible:
- Are in Mower County.
- Must sign up with the Small Business Development Center (SBDC)
- Implementing a something new for their business or non-profit organization that support resiliency
Businesses and Non-profit organizations are ineligible, if:
- An entity has outstanding tax debts
- Entities derive income from billboards, or lobbying.
- Entities primarily derive income from gambling
- Entities derive any income from adult entertainment
- Businesses owners/mangers that have applied under another name/business that have reached a granted amount of $10,000
