There are women (and men) throughout the world whose actions, efforts and inspiration truly do make a ‘World of Difference’ in supporting the advancement of women.
Whether it is a small village project in a developing country that has ripple effects throughout the community, or an event or initiative on a global scale, the TIAW World of Difference Award recognises the power within every individual to change the world they live in for the betterment of women.
Each year, also TIAW bestows the TIAW World of Difference Lifetime Achievement Award at the annual TIAW Global Forum to recognise one woman who has truly made a difference in the lives of women, and the Mandy Goetze Award; an award that is bestowed annually to a TIAW member who has made an outstanding contribution to TIAW, whether it is a long-standing effort or an exceptional achievement in a specific time frame.

Eligibility Criteria
- Whether the candidate is working on a small scale in the developing world or making an impact at the topic of the world’s biggest businesses; if your candidate is well known or an unsung heroine or hero, they want you to tell us the stories of the people whose extraordinary achievements are furthering the economic empowerment of women.
- Please note that individuals cannot nominate themselves.
