The City of Palmdale is pleased to offer funding opportunities for City of Palmdale small businesses, nonprofits, and other eligible agencies.

Details:

The object of these community grants is to provide equal opportunity for non-profits and community businesses to apply for funding that helps address critical issues and provide programs, services, and relief to the Palmdale community.

Preference will be given to organizations that:

  • Provides programs and/or services to local military veterans, at-risk youth, mental health, food and shelter services, community-based policing, and crime prevention to the City of Palmdale community.
  • Serve the City of Palmdale’s most vulnerable populations, low-income, seniors, handicapped, unemployed or other underserved residents.
  • Have partnered with or assisted other non-profits to provide needed services.
  • Have actively provided needed services to the City of Palmdale residents for the longest period of time.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be either a non-profit 501(c)(3) or community-based business/agency.
  • Must provide direct services to the City of Palmdale community.
  • Must have at least a (2) year history of service in the City of Palmdale.
  • Must have a current business license.
  • Organizations should fit into one of the following categories that provide programs and/or services: local military veterans, at-risk youth, mental health, food and shelter services, community-based policing, or crime prevention.
  • Must sign a funding agreement with the City that will include, but is not limited to, general legal principles, reporting, access to financial records, and audit provisions if applicable. The agreement will be provided to awarded applicants.
  • Must submit a final closing statement.
