The Community Foundation of Louisville believes that Louisville’s nonprofit organizations are strengthened when more nonprofit leaders have access to high-quality professional development opportunities. Selected executive directors, presidents, and CEOs are asked to develop a plan for their personal and professional growth which will elevate their work as a leader, benefit their organization, and impact the community.
Funding Information
Fellowship grants up to $10,000 are awarded to individuals who exhibit a unique curiosity, a commitment to the Louisville community, and a sincere interest in exploring their full leadership potential.
Fellowship Period
August 2025 – August 2026.
Uses of funds
Fellowship funds must be used for high-caliber leadership development opportunities, such as executive education, advanced certifications, or customized programs aligned with a Fellow’s professional goals. Funds may not be used for wellness retreat centers or personal wellness experiences.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must serve as an Executive Director (or hold an equivalent title) at a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is headquartered in and serves Jefferson County, Kentucky. Fellowship recipients are expected to meet all program expectations; failure to do so may result in the return of any unspent or unused funds.
