Through grant making and programming (training, convening and capacity building) Chicago Foundation for Women (CFW) will support a network of WOC-led non-profits and leaders who will fight to reduce racial health disparities in Chicagoland, strengthening a movement that will fight for Reproductive Justice in the region and beyond.
Donor Name: Chicago Foundation for Women
Deadline: 02/06/2023
Details:
CFW’s grant program focused on women of color-led organizations and efforts to build the reproductive justice movement.
CFW has established the Reproductive Justice Champions as a dedicated program to support a cohort of Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) and Africana, Latin, Asian, and Native American (ALANA) nonprofits and leaders in Illinois working at the intersections of reproductive and sexual justice and other social justice movements through grant making and programming (training, convening and capacity building).
CFW seeks to make the RJ Champions initiative a regional model for how to create a sanctuary while building the movement to ensure reproductive and sexual justice and access during a time of increased attack.
The RJ Champions cohort will amplify the voices of women, girl, femmes, and pregnant-capable people at the state and regional levels. The RJ Champions cohort uses a bottom-up approach to strategically mobilize constituents to support and influence policies that support reproductive and sexual justice for all.
