For an organization to be eligible to request funding, it must be a 501(c)(3) corporation, provide a service, or hold an event that improves the quality of life for a majority of the citizens of Eustis. Additionally, the organization must submit to providing the City a financial statement showing full accounting of the use of grant funds and expenditures.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible Events
- The event sponsor must be a 501(c)(3) corporation.
- The event must be open to and provide a benefit to all citizens of Eustis in addition to attracting a substantial number of visitors.
- The event must contribute to the economic vitality of the community.
- The event sponsor must provide a financial statement and full accounting of the (a) total event funds and expenditures and (b) use of the grant funds.
- Eligible Organizations
- The organization must be a 501(c)(3) corporation.
- The organization must provide a service that improves the quality o f life for a majority of the citizens of Eustis.
- The organization must provide a financial statement and a full accounting of the use of the grant funds.
- The grant funding will be provided after the organization provides a complete report of the use of funds along with appropriate receipts (on a reimbursement bases) and the event must take place during the current fiscal year of the City.
