The City of Deerfield Beach is committed to supporting organizations that contribute to the public welfare of its community.
Ineligible Organizations
- The Community Participation Grant program will not support and considers ineligible the following:
- Non-profit organizations without a tax-exempt status
- For-profit organizations
- Private foundations
- Organizations that discriminate based on race, color, creed, gender, sexual orientation, and/or national origin
- Organizations or programs designed to influence legislation or elect candidates to public office
- Faith-based organizations or religious programs whose principle purpose is promulgating a particular religious faith, creed, or doctrine
- Recreational, sporting, or athletic associations
- Marketing and advertising, including telemarketing
