The Kicking the Stigma Action Grant program offers Indiana-based organizations the opportunity to request necessary funding for projects and programs focusing on the education, support and advocacy of mental health and mental illness.

Details:

Only Indiana-based nonprofit organizations may apply for an Indianapolis Colts Kicking the Stigma Grant. Submitted applications must focus on key programming in the mental health sector that support community projects and programs within the state of Indiana. Programs must fall within one of the below focus areas:

  • Behavioral Health Workforce Development
  • Equitable Access to Treatment and Resources
  • Grassroots Peer to Peer Programming
  • Awareness and Anti-Stigma Initiatives
  • Youth Mental Health

A strong focus will be placed on evidence-based practices and youth focused initiatives.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Organizations must provide programs or services in the state of Indiana.
  • Organizations may only complete one application per grant cycle.
  • Programs or projects must align within the mental health sector.
  • Organizations must have a 501c3 status or government equivalent.
  • Grant requests must be for a specific program or project.
  • Requests for fundraising support (special event tables, sponsorships, etc.) or administration/operating costs are not eligible.
  • After submitting your application, please do not contact the Indianapolis Colts regarding its status.
  • Due to the volume of applications, we cannot provide feedback on proposals that are not funded.
  • Incomplete applications or an absence of required attachments will disqualify your funding request.
  • Grantees shall acknowledge the Kicking the Stigma Action Grant on program publicity.

Organizations that have previously received a grant through the Indianapolis Colts Kicking the Stigma Grant Program:

  • Are not guaranteed recurring funding.
  • Must have submitted a grant report to the Indianapolis Colts Foundation to be eligible for additional grant funding.
