Local philanthropic leaders announced the creation of the Lincoln Resettlement Fund to wrap support around families resettling in the Lincoln community. The fund is hosted by United Way of Lincoln and Lancaster County.

Support from the Lincoln Resettlement Fund is available to any nonprofit 501(c)(3) serving resettling families in the Lincoln area, and will prioritize support for the following:
- Transportation needs of resettling families to attend appointments, gatherings, employment, etc.
- Childcare needs beyond that which is needed during regular employment while families attend ELL courses, appointments, community events, etc.
- Expanded Case Management to connect families to resources in the community
The fund is separate from the United Way Annual Campaign. Grant requests are also separate and distinctly focused on expanded support for resettlement.
Eligibility Criteria
There will be a streamlined application process that will open to qualified 501(c)(3) organizations providing services in Lincoln, NE or Lancaster County, NE.
