To date, CSC has provided more than $3.7 million to over 160 local nonprofit programs working to address health inequities and advance opportunities in STEM among communities that have experienced barriers to care and opportunity.
Program Focus
Community-based programs must cover one of the following areas:
- Nutrition
- Healthcare Access
- Lung Health.
Funding Information
- In 2025, CSC will provide up to $1.5 million in funding to new and existing programs.
- Applicants may receive a one-time contribution of $30,000, to be used over a 12-month period.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nonprofit 501(c) organizations across the US and US territories are invited to apply for funding to support programs focused within one or more communities. Funding is subject to local regulations. While not a requirement, special consideration will be given to programs that reach AstraZeneca footprint geographies (e.g., California, Delaware, Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas and Washington).
- The US ACT on Health Equity: Community Solutions Challenge is open for all eligible 501(c) organizations in the US and US territories delivering regional and local community-based programming. This includes local chapters of national organizations.
