Funding Information
For 2026, up to six Individual Artist Fellowships (two in the Visual Arts, two in the Literary Arts, and two in Compositional Arts) in the amount of $5,000 each, will be granted.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements by the application deadline:
- 18 years old or older
- Current residents of Sullivan County
- Cannot be enrolled in a degree-seeking program of any kind
- Are the originators of the work
- Did not receive a DVAA Individual Artist grant in any discipline in the past four consecutive years; 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025.
- Cannot submit any work samples that have been previously awarded a DVAA Individual Artist grant
- Are not a DVAA employee, a member of the DVAA Board of Directors, Grant Advisory Committee, or an immediate family member of any of the above.
- Artists involved in a Community Arts Project seeking FY26 funding through Arts for Sullivan are eligible to apply, so long as the work they are doing as Individual Artists is separate from their collaborative work.
