Details:

This grant is for residents who own and occupy their homes. It is intended to cover improvements like roofing, siding, fencing, electrical upgrades and exterior house painting or other expenses that meet the Committee’s approval.

Eligibility Criteria 

There are 4 major requirements to be eligible to apply for this grant:

  • The home must be physically located within the Michigan City Urban Enterprise Zone boundaries. It must be a single-family residence.
  • The homeowner must own and occupy the home.
