Types of Grant
- Inspiration Grants
- Inspiration Grants do not have a specific focus, thereby inspiring nonprofits to identify and address the community’s most pressing needs. They will be awarding two grants of up to $26,000 each.
- Acorn Grants
- A total of three (3) Acorn grants will be awarded to nonprofit organizations that have not previously received a grant from the WFED. New and established nonprofits are encouraged to apply. They will be awarding three grants of up to $8,000 each.
- Impact Grants
- A total of three (3) Impact Grants will be awarded to nonprofit organizations offering direct impacts on the western slope of El Dorado County. This includes but is not limited to human services, such as those pertaining to mental or physical health, education, youth development, or services to children, families or seniors, arts, community beautification, animal welfare, or community development. They will be awarding three grants of up to $8,000 each.
Funding Information
WFED anticipates awarding a total of $100,000 in 2024.
Eligibility Criteria
Funding is available to Nonprofit Organizations 501(c)(3), Schools, Churches, and Service Organizations that meet the following criteria:
- Have nonprofit status
- Have a physical location on the western slope of El Dorado County (El Dorado Hills to Silver Fork)
- Provide services to the western slope of El Dorado County.
