The EIP Initiative encourages law enforcement agencies and/or prosecutors’ offices to expand and improve their capacity to effectively investigate and/or prosecute these crimes, and, in so doing, support victim safety and autonomy, hold offenders accountable, and promote agency trust within the surrounding community.

- Eligible applicants are limited to: state, territorial, county, local, and/or Tribal law enforcement agencies and prosecutors’ offices that investigate or prosecute crimes of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and/or stalking in the United States or U.S. territories. States, units of local government, and Tribal governments may apply on behalf of law enforcement agencies and prosecutors’ offices that lack authority to apply on their own.
