The Safety Works Training Grants help employers reduce the risk of injury and illness to workers and promote safe and healthy conditions in the workplace through training, education, and other preventative measures.
The Safety Works Training Grant administered by the Office of Safety within the Department of Industrial Accidents (DIA) and established under provides eligible Massachusetts-based employers in good standing with funding for employee training to prevent or address workplace injuries.
The Safety Works Training grant is a reimbursement-based program. In order to quality for reimbursement, all training must be approved and completed only after the contract is executed by all parties. Reimbursement may not exceed the approved grant amount and may be denied if training providers are changed without the prior approval and authorization by Office of Safety.
Funding Information
Employers may request up to $25,000 per grant.
Eligibility Criteria
Massachusetts employers in good standing who are covered by the Workers’ Compensation Act are eligible.
