It is the PACVB’s hope that businesses and organizations will be inspired to develop new events and attractions or enhance existing resources.
The Go for It Grant Program is open to businesses, event planners, organizations, conventions/tradeshows and sporting events. Priority is given to events or projects within Portage County and neighboring areas, but the PACVB is open to considering any project/event that could drive tourism to the Plover Area.
The PACVB is interested in funding projects that align with the following:
- Recreational development/enhancement projects (including but not limited to trail enhancement/development, kayak/boat launches, etc.)
- Sporting facility enhancement/development
- Cultural events
- Agritourism
- Musical events
- Car shows
- Food/Brewery/Distillery/Winery tours and events
- Tournaments/Sporting Events
- Meetings/Conferences/Conventions.
