Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant organizations must be physically located in East Chicago, Hammond, or Whiting and the proposed project or activity must take place in those communities.
- Organizations must have experienced damage or interruptions in service resulting from the storms in August 2025 and/or be looking to improve emergency preparedness/procedures to be better positioned for future weather-related events.
- Open to 501c3 nonprofit organizations, churches, schools, local government, and first responder service agencies.
