Building a Brighter Future Together Community Grants puts community voice at the center of change. As part of United Way of Greater Atlanta’s Brighter Future Investment Priority Area portfolio, this initiative invests in neighborhoods by letting residents, youth, and local leaders lead the way — identifying challenges, shaping solutions, and guiding funding decisions. The first iteration of grants will take place in Forest Park, GA.

Focused on building community resilience, this grantmaking model shifts power, uplifts lived experience and transforms both outlooks and outcomes. It’s not just funding — it’s a movement led by the people who know their communities best.
