Local organizations seeking financial support to promote tourism in Brownsville. In accordance with Texas State Hotel Occupancy Tax requirements, every dollar awarded through this program must directly enhance and promote tourism, as well as the convention and hotel industry within the City of Brownsville. Recipients must have a project that falls under one of the nine statutorily provided categories for expenditures.

- Paying the administrative costs for facilitating convention registration.
- Paying for advertising, solicitations, and promotions that attract tourists and convention delegates to the City or its vicinity.

- Funding certain expenses, including promotional expenses, directly related to a sporting event within counties with a population of under 1 million.
