This program is funded by the Consumer’s Energy Foundation Prosperity Grant that was awarded to the City of Cadillac in 2021. The Prosperity Grant was awarded to the City of Cadillac to Revitalize Neighborhoods by creating safe and attractive neighborhoods and gathering spaces and fight blight.
City of Cadillac homeowners are eligible to apply for a 50% Matching Grant from the City of Cadillac and Cadillac Area Habitat for Humanity to improve the exterior of their homes.
Funding Information
- Eight projects were completed in 2023, a total of nearly $48,000 invested into the homes.
- Grants up to $3,000.00 will be awarded. Homeowners that are interested will find a full list of qualifications and eligibility at the City of Cadillac website and at the Municipal Complex.
Application Requirements
- Proof of Homeowners insurance
- Proof of Principle Residence
- Photos of all sides of the home receiving upgrades/changes must be provided with application
- Before and after photos of each project site are required and may be used for promotional purposes by City of Cadillac, Cadillac Area Habitat for Humanity, and Consumers Energy Foundation. The City of Cadillac and Cadillac Area Habitat for Humanity reserve the right to take photos of your home before, during and after this Façade Grant program.
